Clare creates and executes comprehensive and creative communication strategies to help clients across various sectors and issue areas achieve their immediate and long-term goals.
From her experience working with The 2030 Group, The Stephen S. Fuller Institute, as campaign manager of the MetroNow coalition, and other regional projects, Clare has developed a deep knowledge of regional issues and cultivated strong relationships with local media and influencers.
Before joining MDB, Clare was a Principal at the Dewey Square Group and gained extensive communication experience working in the U.S. Senate. She worked for U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) in various roles, including as press secretary for the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging. She also served in U.S. Senator Bill Nelson’s personal press office, assisted with his 2012 re-election campaign, and worked in the press office of U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).
Clare is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she earned a B.A. in English and was a member of the nationally-ranked University of Michigan Women’s Gymnastics team. While at Michigan, she was an Academic All-American and won three Big Ten Championships with her team.
