On Saturday, May 4, 2019, MDB Communications will be participating in the Greater Washington, DC March for Babies. More than 380,000 babies are born prematurely in the U.S. each year—that’s one baby every two seconds. Premature birth and its complications are the largest contributors to infant death in the United States and globally. And right here, in our own community, Washington, DC’s Premature Birth Report Card is a “D.” By helping March of Dimes change that, we’re building a brighter future for us all.
We are honored to partner with March of Dimes not only for the great work they are doing across the country, but because it hits close to home for one of our own. Kelsey Daddio – MDB’s Senior Media Planner/Buyer – is the proud aunt of not one, but TWO micro-preemie NICU graduates. Her nephew, Jack Robert, was born in 2013 at just 1lb, 7 ounces. A few years later, her niece Josephine Morgan, was born at 1lb, 8 ounces. They are both now thriving due to the support of many, including March of Dimes.
The money we raise funds research, education, advocacy and programs that empower families to have the healthiest pregnancies possible.
Please contact Cary Hatch at email@example.com if you have any questions. And be sure to go to our team fundraising page below to make a donation. With your support, we can reach our fundraising goal to improve the health of all moms and babies in our community and across the country.
Thank you for your donation!
Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. They will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
